After 30 years, my hallway restroom needed the wax ring to be replaced and I selected and used universal home experts technician Patrick F, He was very knowledgeable. Explain exactly what he was going to do. After reviewing the problem of the leak at the base of my restroom toilet in the hallway, he arrived promptly and replaced the wax ring in a timely manner. Because of his expertise I would Recommend universal home experts to my friends and family & use them for all my repairs regarding my electrical and plumbing needs.A toilet wax ring can last as long as the toilet itself, which is usually around 30 years. However, some recommend replacing it every 10 to 20 years to ensure its performing optimally.

He came in and was time efficient and fixed my issue without even taking apart my sink. It was truly remarkable. I paid over 4k for some earrings and one was stuck in my drain. He recovered it in under 30 minutes. Service was so good my mother only wants him to come check our drains from here on out. Would definitely recommend his services!

This was our first experience with a heating system check out. Prior plumbing service work was done well so we opted for the scheduled HVAC annual checks. The technician, Ricky, was on time and seemed to perform a thorough inspection. The company kept us updated on his arrival which I appreciated. No complaints with the service provided.

I had a natural gas hookup installed at my gas meter. They were able to come out the same day I called to estimate the project and then came back the next day to complete the project. I appreciated how quickly the project was done and thought the price was reasonable based on price shopping I did with other companies.

Great quality company with technicians who really care about the craftsmanship of their work and the customer. They are always prompt and courtious. My one reason I didn’t give five stars is that they are VERY expensive. Much more expensive than other companies. If they adjusted pricing they would be my one stop shop all the time. I understand as a business person that large overhead might contribute to this with a bigger company, but reduction in pricing would help immensely.

Universal has been awesome! I can’t recommend Zach and Thomas for plumbing needs enough. Everytime I call I get someone on the phone to help, they are really proactive about keeping your home up to date and safe, just a great company and great service overall.

Zak and Beau came to my house this afternoon within 30 minutes after I called Universal. I can’t tell you how thankful I was when they showed up. My house was a mess. Everything was stopped up - the toilets, the shower and the tub. They did a wonderful job and I can’t thank them enough for clearing everything up. What a great experience. Some weeks ago our plumbing issue in our guest shower was analyzed and repaired in a professional manor. Technician was friendly, could get it all done in one appointment, and cleaned up after his work.Today we had a shower head fixture update, done by Zach. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job.We are also looking into a generator installation and Zach was able to give me some all over information.

Universal came out and got my tankless water heater to start working after it had stopped. cleaned and flushed the unit. gave me appropriate information about cost before doing the work, answered my questions as to the reason for the cost first approach. He was very patient and waited for me to understand everything. He did a fantastic job and also got a Tosca Brand repair started for me that 2 other plumbers had decided not to take care of for me because they would need a part. This company will do well to keep this young man, Vincente, on their team. Because of his good work, I went ahead and got their monthly service agreement for priority service. Thank goodness. Houston, we have no problem with Universal Home Experts.

Willy brought his 2 man crew to my residence to install a new electrical panel and service meter. The old panel located in my clothes closet was obsolete and the new panel was located on an outside wall to comply with the county electrical codes. They also completed several other related repairs on the various circuits . Willy’s 2 man crew’s skill level was so good either one of them could have served as the crew manager.The job was finished in one day. I had to give them 5 stars.

Work to be done was explained ,executed and descibed what was done when completed. Professional performance, cleaned up after completion. Polite and friendly. Definitely would use for any future electrical work.

Patrick came prepared with the right parts, and was able to quickly identify and fix the problem. He explained the work to be done and gave us the price. Once approved, he quickly finished the work and communicated what problems we might need to look for.

My family faced a distressing situation when our attic water heater broke, pouring water through the insulation and into three rooms. A plumber claiming expertise informed us that we needed to replace both tanks, as they were linked, either for $8,500 or go tankless for $9,600. Pressured to decide quickly, I hesitated when he couldnt itemize the costs. I decided to seek more estimates. The first of three additional plumbers was Patrick from Universal. Patrick listened sympathetically and, after a brief inspection, assured us we could immediately restore the water. He clarified that our tanks werent linked and that the issue was a simple busted downspout, not a leaking tank. The repair would cost about 500 bucks and not almost ten thousand.Patrick did offer tank replacement options, but they were about 30% below the other estimate. I promptly canceled the other appointments and proceeded with Patrick. As a disabled veteran with decades of faithful service, my trust in people is hard-won. Patrick won it with his integrity and expertise. He restored my faith in his profession and was a welcome reminder that there are still good people out there. For future plumbing issues, I will only turn to Universal as long as Patrick is there, though I believe he will eventually lead his own company. Eric was very professional and knowledgeable and conscientious about our concerns. The work he did solved one issue but did not fix the underlying problem. A senior technician was necessary to inspect our A/C installation and determine the solution. That is still in process. All in all, though, Eric did a fine job.Update: Ricky was the senior tech that visited us. He was very professional and knowledgeable about how to fix our problem. The work done by Rickys crew was top notch and thorough. Very happy with the result. Our A/C is running smoothly and efficiently as it was designed to do. Great company. Everyone that we have worked with have been very professional and polite. We have had them solve some of our plumbing issues as well as install a new ACU unit. A electrician camp out this morning & replaced my master closet light fixtures. Brand new LED that doesnt need light bulbs changed all the time. He even asked what kind of light color did I want & boy does this put out a bright light. So much better than that old fixture. Very good with asking what I wanted & taking care of the matter. I called Universal to get a quote for flushing my hot water heater and I spoke with Ashley. Ashley was extremely helpful in getting me a quote right away. I called other companies, but they gave the best quote and had a five star rations with 1K+ reviews so I scheduled with them. Everything was exactly as she explained it. Vincente was the technician who came out to do the flush. He was on time and he did an excellent job. I highly recommend using Universal!

Eric helped us today installing an Amazon Smart Home Thermostat. Eric has helped us before, so we felt confident when he returned for this new project we had. Universal responds to us in a timely manner, and the technicians are always very knowledgeable and professional! We will continue to utilize Universal for our home needs!

My AC had self-corrected (twice in 2 days) after a HUGE storm which knocked out power to the house for about 5 hours. AC was up & running when Eric arrived. He checked everything very thoroughly: in the attic and at the unit; thermostat and electrical breakers. No history available via the thermostat. Next time it quits I’ll remember to photograph the error code with my phone!Everything he checked looked good.

Excellent customer service. I was informed of all the processes to replace a Water Heater. It amazing to see that in a couple of hours I got a new Water heater functioning without any problems.Thank you Universal Home Experts for your exceptional care and service.

Anthony and his partner have done an excellent job for my houses electric panel, they also follow up by coming back to checking or if you have any concern. These guys love their job and done their job as the same their own home.

Universal saved the day again! Water heater had a “drip” sound so called them this morning and a tech was sent within a hour!! Vincent evaluated and explained how condensation can buildup and then drip, so no leak found!!I had been having issues with a commode not flushing and he found the issue and got it repaired even tho that is not what the service call was for. He even gave suggestions for dealing with the coming bad weather. An all around great tech!!Thanks Vincent!! You are most helpful and respectful!

We trust Universal for all electrical services. Universal has helped with many electrical repairs and improvements over the years. When we purchased an older home recently, we needed to have new panels and all new electrical wiring to insure that the home was safe. Willy G and his team (Cèsar and Marco) did an excellent job bringing the home up to current code standards and adding the improvements that I wanted. Universal technicians are knowledgeable of all current codes and are innovative in finding solutions to electrical problems. Another thing I really like about Universal is the administrative staff (Jeff, Chris, Ashley, Liz) who confirm appointments and who are helpful in scheduling appointments and understanding the electrical needs of the customer. A person always answers the phone to help the caller---no answering machines! I will continue to rely on Universal for any future electrical needs.

Rick did a great job in coordinating the replacement of a problematic HVAC system that kept blowing cold air when it was supposed to be heating. His crew replaced it the next day, which was important since we are on the verge of having a hard freeze in a few days. The crew was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. And they left the house quite clean, sweeping up after themselves.

UHE was recommended to me by a commercial electrical company for installing a whole-house line conditioner that i’m interested in. I called them to get a quote. I easily set up an appointment and Mark came out as scheduled. I found Mark to be very competent and helpful. I asked for and received a quote for complete install and also for an install with my parts. Based on this interaction, I do plan on selecting them for my project.

Patrick Fulton is great and very smart in his plumbing expertise. He is very sharp and professional as he tried to identify the potentially water leaking problem in one of our rooms upstairs. His solution was very quick and effective. He also gave us a very fast but super effective correction work to one of the faulty faucets that was very hard to even turn on for water. His knowledge and great skill are really so super and impressive that we plan on asking him to come back to our home for fixing and installing several key items related to plumbing work. Mark did a wonderful job. I called 4 other electricians and Mark was by far the very best. He explained clearly the issues, explained clearly the remedies, and then followed through on everything. He was the only electrician that discovered that the issue was caused by Centerpoint. The Neutral was not connected. I highly highly recommend. OH!!! And he got on the line with CenterPoint for me to explain that the wires from Centerpoint were not connected! And CenterPoint believed him and followed through.

Marcos did a great job installing outdoor lighting. He least the place clean and everything works great.

I had electrical work done which involved the breaker box, running new wiring to my water heater, cleaning the breaker box, tightening all connections, adding a home surge protector, and labeling the breaker box. Willy & Eric were the technicians and were very professional and did a great job! They were very patient and meticulous with the work they did, and when explaining everything to me. They walked me through everything before and after, and made sure to clean up after the job was finished.

I have used Universal Home Experts for a few repairs now, including a new AC installation and a clogged drain. Every time I have had their services, they have been very communicative up front regarding time of arrival and estimated completion time. I have had 3-4 different technicians in our house, and they have all been very professional and courteous. Im sure I could find the services slightly cheaper elsewhere, but I trust UHEs expertise and response time anytime I have an issue.
