Total Comfort A/C Systems

My experience with Total Comfort A/C was great! Larry and Sebastian were very professional, efficient and timely! I appreciate their kindness and patience with me and all my questions! I am very confident in the work and service they provided!

I have been a Total Comfort A/C customer for almost 9 years. I bought a new home builders special in 2008. Well the builders got me with a builders special AC.....Cheap as chips POS. And every time it would fail it would be on the weekend or the holidays. Total AC came out on a summerSaturday and got it done. These guys helped me patch this thing through until its dying breath over the years. Well it just happened..... I had to bite the bullet with a new system. I did my home work on pricing etc... looked at other AC providers. Total AC came through with a very competitive bid and won the work from me. They had already won my trust over the years.of service... These guys have INTEGRITY.

We experienced a total system replacement of both AC and Furnace. I was extremely impressed and satisfied by Larry and his installation crew. Professional response to any problems was immediately taken care of.

I have been a loyal customer of these guys since 2004. The first project they did was to move my old AC coil from the garage to the attic and redistribute the air from a manifold in the space above the kitchen like it should have been done all along. I am on my third installation of an AC unit (I have two units for two zones). I have these guys out for maintenance in the fall and in the spring. I have only had minor maintenance issues in 20 years, none of which were predictable. I will not use any other vendor for my AC or furnace needs! The service Tech Sebastion and the installation crew are clean, polite and know their stuff (I am a retired engineer with many years of commercial HVAC experience). Kudos to the team at Total AC Comfort systems!

Cant say enough good things about Total Comfort A/C Systems, their staff and installers. Full HVAC replacement is no small investment, but with Larrys vast experience & knowledge he was able to explain the right system for my needs. Real professionals. Fully appreciate and love what they do.

Sebastian, the technician was fantastic. He explained each item he was checking for and showed me the readings he was watching. Sebastian was professional, friendly, and efficient but thorough.Craig, the dispatcher worked around the bad weather and my schedule to find the best time to do the work. The automated messaging system let me know when to expect the service and alerted me when he was on his way.The pricing was fair and reasonable. I am having an additional ductless split A/C unit installed by Total Comfort.This is my new. Go-to A/C service company!!

I had an issue with a tech that came to our house. It was pretty significant. I will tell you the owners of this company handled that issue superbly and above and beyond any of my expectations. These people truly care about the service they provide. The way they handled fixing the problem really showed me that people still exist with integrity and humility. Incidents happen and its all about how you respond and handle them! I will definitely use this company in the future and refer to them because I feel they stand behind their name and the service they provide. Exceptional!

I dont normally have time to leave reviews as I have two small children, but I wanted to take the time to leave Total Comfort A/C Systems a great review. My upstairs air conditioner was acting up and I called Total Comfort and Craig, the manager answered right away and sent Sebastian, the technician, the next morning. After thoroughly examining my entire A/C and heating system, everything looked okay but he thought my thermostat may be acting up so at that point it was a good idea just to keep an eye on it to see if different programming would fix the problem. A couple days later, the upstairs air conditioner was acting up and Craig sent Sebastian back to my house the same day I called. We ended up replacing the thermostat which (fingers crossed) fixed the problem. But the most important thing to me is the promptness answering my call and getting a technician to my house on time. Sebastian is professional, great with dogs, and respectful that I have children that need my attention and is very patient! This company is my new AC company and I am so happy I found them.

We are very happy with Total Comfort A/C and Heating. They always keep us on schedule for our 6 months check up on our unit. Our Tech, Sebastian has been doing our system maintenance for years. He is always so very happy, cheerful and pleasant to work with. Sebastian always answers our questions and explains everything that he did and how everything checked out. Im going to add to the long list of other 5 star reviews. Briefly, my experiences with Total Comfort A/C have been the best of any contractor Ive dealt with in my 10 years in Houston.They have been beyond fair with me regarding service/warranty issues.They have provided prompt, knowledgeable technical service, even on a weekend.They convinced me to try the Mitsubishi Ductless Split System when my conventional electric heat pump failed in July of 2017. My electric bill has averaged $40/month less since the install.Larry came out and did an excellent job of assessing our needs and suggesting options.Paul and his crew then came out and completely removed all traces of previous A/C installations, including duct work, prior to performing a top-notch, professional installation.On this first service call, 16 months after the install, Jim and Sebastion tracked down a very subtle pinhole coolant leak that had been slowly degrading system performance, probably since the initial install.Not only did Total Comfort find and fix the leak, they agreed to relocate one unit in our Master B/R to a different wall (not a trivial operation) charging us only for the parts needed to make the move.If I could give this company a 10 star rating, I would.

I just recently used Total Comforts services for a second time in 4 years. They provide excellent, knowledgeable, and honest service. My favorite tech goes the extra mile and explains everything he is doing and answers any and all questions about your system and what his gages show. In addition, he told me they proudly stand behind their work. Couldnt ask for a better AC company and I plan to continue using them and will recommend them to my friends.

Ive been a Total Comfort customer for about 10 years. Ive replaced several AC systems in different houses and theyve always been responsive, communicative, and worked within whatever budget I had for the project. On the few emergencies Ive had, theyve always quickly responded. Anytime someone needs a referral for an AC issue, I always point them at Total Comfort.

Total Comfort (TC) has performed numerous AC repairs and a unique mini-split heat-pump install for us; performed by Sebastian and Hugo, respectively. Congrats to TC for having these high quality people representing them.

When Total Comfort installed our system, the entire crew was knowledgeable, engaged and friendly. I felt compketely comfortable and confident with their services. We were kept in the loop at all times, and are completely satisfied. I’d highly recommend!

We called and total a/c came out the same day. Very professional and thorough. The technician explained everything and left the areas clean. I had filters sitting in the living room and he took it upon himself to change out the filters- I didn’t even mention it! He even let me know about a plumbing issue he noticed in the attic, so we were able to take care of it before there was a major issue. I have total trust in total a/c.

Total Comfort has been my a/c repair team for years, just replaced my entire old system with a new Trane system. Complete system upgrade including a/c, furnace and thermostat. Their team showed up on time, work was done very professionally and quickly. Less than 6 hours for it all. After they were done, they took the time to show me everything that was replaced and explained the new system to me in detail. They hauled off all the old components and cleaned up thier mess. Very satisfied with the job they did and the value I received on this job. Highly recommend them.

The staff at Total Comfort were better than I expected.. fast and professional! They moved heaven and earth to get our A/C back on, negotiating with our warranty company. I was kept informed every step of the way. I cant tell you how grateful I am that they were assigned to help us!

Id rank Total Comfort A/C systems up high in the range for customer satisfaction. The entire process was diligent and technically superior VS other providers. The crew arrived timely, did setup a clean path for their work along with taking care of the carpets etc, deployed the systems in a very organized way, Paul came in to make sure every single detail had been taken care off. They finished the job on time and asked me to also review the work done, which I found satisfactory. Id definitely recommend Total Comfort A/C systems to anybody that needs to resolve AC Issues. In my case Ive been dealing with chronicall issues that were missdiagnosed in the past, resulting in multiple visit iterations.

Mr. Dean came out and evaluated our system that was way over due for replacement. He offered us a number of options including duct work replacement (35 yr old house). His team was very thorough and informative upon installation. I would use them again and have told a number of neighbors about how great of a job they did.

Very good experience with Total Comfort AC. They worked with me on price for a Mitsubishi 1 ton mini split system. Installation went smoothly and have now been enjoying new system for a couple of weeks with no issues.

Jim, the technician, was very professional in performing maintenance to my system. He went out of his way to suggest replacing a couple of the vents to redirect the air flow properly towards the windows, which take in much of the heat from the sun. He went over all the results of his testing and adjustments. He kept me informed when he was held up by heavy traffic so I wouldnt be waiting on him. I cant believe I was charged only $59.00 for the hour he was here. I was just as impressed with the level of Jims service as I was when Total Comfort installed my replacement system 2 years ago.Fred Sheldon

Ive used Total Comfort A/C Systems for air conditioning replacements in two houses and they are fantastic from both the sales side and the technical side.In total, theyve installed three Trane air conditioners for me. One was a high-end variable speed unit (XV18) that made our house extremely comfortable (instead of getting blasted with cold air for awhile and then having no air for awhile and getting hot, it keeps light gentle breeze of cold air blowing all the time). Ive also had two XR16 units put in. The XR16s worked great and are extremely quiet outside.What stands out to me about Total Comfort A/C Systems is how professional they are all-around. The sales team is very helpful and responsive. They show up on time every time and are quick to give you quotes. The technical team/installers are also very professional. They took great care of my house, laying down protective tarps everywhere and always make sure everything is working perfectly before they leave.Just to point out the difference between Total Comfort and the competition: my neighbor used another company to install a unit. The unit ended up having a bad bearing and being extremely loud but they left it anyway and apparently hoped he wouldnt notice. He had to call to get them to come back and fix it. When I had my unit installed, one of the XR16s also had a bad bearing. Total Comfort A/C Systems never left my house: the main crew kept working while they sent someone to a distribution center to get a replacement condenser. When they left my house, it was perfect. I might not even have noticed the bad bearing, but they dont care: they take pride in their work and make it right.Good company!

I couldnt be happier with their service. Our AC went out and they were able to get out very quickly, stopped by the Lennox facility and got OEM parts, and took the time to educate me on some misconceptions and common issues many people have. Sebastian was a great technician, and Larry was a tremendous help getting everything scheduled and coordinated. Absolutely great people to know when youre dealing with hot Texas summers. Even if someone quotes you lower, go with these people, I promise you wont regret it.

This’s the best AC company and best service tech I’ve dealt with in a long time. It starts with a phone call and the fast arrival of Jim (Tech). Total Comfort has been our one & only HVAC company ever since they installed a Mitzubishi Mini in our extra building several years ago. Always prompt & on time, and they dont do unnecessary service. Great to have them doing the annual checkups on all systems to keep them running smoothly.

We are on Total AC’s routine maintenance program and highly recommend it. All of the employees have been professional and quick to respond if an issue arises. The last service was performed by Sebastian Coronado, an amiable young man who called and arrived on time and gave a thorough inspection.

Total comfort is always reliable and punctual. they give you that family feel and cost efficient compared to larger known a/c companies. they offer a yearly (twice a year check) maintenance plan which gives me peace of mind in the event something is wrong. i highly recommend the their technician jim. so polite, courteous and thorough. give larry the owner a call!

These guys are great. We replaced our 2 systems a few years ago. They are dependable, fair, courteous and prompt. I highly recommend them. We have them come out and do inspections too.

I got five estimates to replace my home HVAC system. The estimates covered a wide range $7-12,000 for the same system. TCAS wasnt the least expensive but was on the low end of the range. I really liked and trusted Paul and Larry so went with TCAS. That was seven years ago. Still use them for periodic checkups and bought another system from them to replace my second system three years ago. Great service.

Total Comfort A/C has the best customer service in the Houston area. I came home Monday afternoon to an 83 degree house and Total Comfort had my A/C unit up and running before 5:30. They deserve more than a 5 star rating.

Amazing!!!!! I called on a Sunday at 1pm for AC not working and they had someone out here within an hr. Very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. I will definitely be a customer for life. I bought 1 AC from them and when my other fails they will be the only call I will make.

I may have posted before but I cant say enough good things about TCAS. They put both systems in my house about five years ago. We recently started using them at my church and they have really turned the situation around there. Their first visit they saved us $1500 by explaining that what another HVAC company wanted to do would not fix our problem and was unneeded. Glad I found TCAS.

Larry and his guys have been nothing short of professional and prompt for everything theyve done for us. We had a complete AC system put in for our upstairs and they did a great job even fixing a messed up drain line on our downstairs unit by a home warranty company.

If your looking for the hardest working Owner who take pride in his work look no further. These guys beat all other quotes to install a 3 Zone Mini Split System. They even corrected a previous installers (John Moore) errors from a prior install.
