Kevin came out and fixed our heating issue with no problems, and offered a lot of knowledge regarding the issue. This was after another company had come out earlier in the day and tried to have us replace the entire unit. I’m amazed at how some companies try and take advantage of customers. I will only call Polar Express going forward. I appreciate your honesty Kevin.
I called this morning with a question regarding some issue with my AC system and some repaired suggested by a company sent by my home warranty. Ben answered the phone and spent some time answering the questions I had. Great customer service, I will definitively call them when my home warranty expires.Updated 10/2018: had to call as one of my unit stop cooling. Got a prompt call back from Bruce and he showed up as scheduled that evening. After running some diagnostic, Bruce called me to explain what could be the problem. He even offered several options to fix the issue. Since I already had the part, he told me to go ahead and change it when I got home and call him back if I still had any problem. After a few minutes I received a call from Bruce, he had found a broken wire, fixed it and told me that the issue was fixed. Best of all since he was an easy fix, he refused to charge me despite spending time finding the issue and speaking with me on the phone since I was at work. This is the best customer service I have received ever. Please do not hesitate to call them and support a local company that really cares about their costumers.Update 01/14/2022Decided to update the outside AC unit due to age and poor performance. Bruce came by, gave me a quote, explained to me my options with no pressure at all. Price was great and I got the unit installed back in December. Unit looks awesome, installation looks professional and it performs as expected. From previous experience with this company I know my family and I are in good hands if anything happen.
They were quick to respond to my text about service maintenance and schedule an appointment within the same week. The technician that came out was very professional and efficient. Overall, very pleased.

They installed a ac new unit and works in my home 9 years ago. This past week, our capacitor went out and they were quick to fix. Days later, same problem but was diagnosed as compressor. They had a guy out to replace it the next day. They are a great local business and would recommend to friends, family and neighbors.
Hands down the best!!! Right after hurricane Beryl on main floor a/c stopped working. Contacted one company and they said the coils were leaking and cost to replace $3600. Decided to get a second opinion and just fix it came out. Paid the $89, he check thermostat and power, both working then went outside and said “ you right it’s not working properly, I need to diagnose the issue”. He want close to $600 to diagnose the issue. So basically the $89 I paid for for him to come to my house and confirm what I already knew. Told him no thanks, not paying that! Called Polar express, Bruce explained everything, how the test equipment even showed me the llama on the outside unit. Then I asked him to check upstairs because another company said they found a leak upstairs. When we went into the attic he noticed the unit still had tape on it and that the other company couldn’t have tested the unit without removing it. Bruce removed the tape tested it and no leak! Polar came through and saved me from spending money on unnecessary repairs cost and setting up my system to work better than ever before. I can’t thank them enough. An honest company with great employees that do the job right the first time!! Thanks Bruce you are the absolute best!!!
Express is the motto. When my old 3T Carrier Unit went down on Labor day Weekend! Polar Express was like a first responder. They sent Bruce today, who quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the capacitor in record time and put us back to battling the Texas hot summer knowing we can count on them 24/7.
The technician came in on Sunday, at the earliest time promised. In less than 20 minutes, completed the task (what the other company, Air Techs of Katy, was not able to do in three days). Thanks to Polar Express, we are in an air-conditioned heaven.
My a/c went out at night and I texted Polar Express to request a service call. They responded even though it was after hours and fit me into their schedule for the next day. Bruce came in the afternoon, found the problem, went back to the office to get the part and showed back up at 8:00 pm to install it and make sure everything was working properly. I was not expecting him to come back that night to ensure we were up and running again but I am so grateful he didnt wait another day. Major kudos to Bruce and Polar Express!!!

Polar Express came out on only hours notice to repair my heater issue while also going out of their way to kindly explain what was happening and how they were fixing it.Kevin with Polar Express was our tech and was extremely knowledgeable, but also very easy to talk to about the issue.I am glad to know I have found a great, local service that I will be using for all HVAC needs going forward!
June 2024 Review - their service and technicians continue to provide top notch service at very reasonable prices. I text after hours on Saturday and promptly received a reply from Tre. Kevin came out today, arrived within the scheduled time frame, and repaired the issue in less than 45 mins. They are the best in town!Im late in writing this review...Our A/C went out during the peak of last summers heat wave (2023) & I called Polar Express early in the morning, and they squeezed us in for 7 pm. They had multiple delays at still showed up at 11:30 pm, completed the repair, & charged a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Polar Express!!!

Polar Express is class act Company. Very Honest & Professional! They hav assisted our home in our Hottest & Coldest hour. They charge for what you need and don’t over charge like so many. They are very busy and may not always be able to come out within an hour but they always come same day. So

Tre gave us a quote that was in-line with the other 3 quotes we received and installed the next week (6/7/2024). Installers were great and got everything up and running in 6 hours. Tre came by two days later for a quality and installation review. Hes professional and responsive. Im highly recommending!
I messaged them on 6/30 after 2:00 pm requesting a replacement of our condenser coil. He responded to my text within maybe 30 seconds and had an appointment scheduled for 7/1 to verify the issue. He ended up locating another issue while here. Today, 7/5, he already had a crew out to fix everything in about an hour. His crew was polite, courteous and efficient. I couldnt be more happy with how quickly they responded and got everything done. I will definitely be referring them to all of my family and friends.
I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Ive been using them for about six years, and they have always done a great job. They are always very responsive, and can usually come out the same day when I have a problem. They even came out on Christmas Day, when I woke up to no heat, AND they only charged me their regular service call fee. They are always very knowledgeable and fix the problem quickly. Their prices are more than reasonable, and they let you know upfront what the price will be, without any unexpected extra charges.
I remembered seeing multiple recommendations from residents on a Katy fb page and also received a referral for Polar Express from another AC company we knew and had called but were booked. We had an issue with our system, and I called and left a message early in the morning. Bruce called me back immediately and made arrangements to come out, and he even contacted me when he was a half hour away, which was at my request. Wow! Great customer service, kind and knowledgeable! I cannot express enough how impressed we were with his service. We are so grateful we were directed to this company, and received Bruce as our professional. They will certainly have positive referrals and a customer in us!
Updated review 8/5/20Ben is awesome! Our ac went completely out and Ben was at our house ready to help in 30 minutes. He fixed the issue in under 45 minutes and it ended up being a part covered by his warranty. Which is a true warranty. I highly recommend his services dont go anywhere else! We defiantly will not use anyone else! Thanks Ben!Nov 2019Five stars are not enough! My ac went out and I called And Ben got back to me in 5 minutes and was out here within the hour. He had everything up and running in 45 minutes and even washed our units. He is very professional and courteous. His prices are very reasonable as well. I see a few customers who have given negative reviews, but I do not know who they were using. It surely cannot have been Polar Express. Within the last six months I have had to call them twice for issues with A/C and heating. Neither time did they charge me ANYTHING! Not even after I insisted! The first trip was for a clogged A/C drain line. The technician came out, worked for at least an hour trying to unclog the line. He used supplies/ tools which obviously the company purchased. He was unable to break the clog so he charged me NOTHING! All he asked was that we call them in the future for any issues. That impressed me, so today I had another issue and called them. My furnace would not light and it is getting cold out. I tried to troubleshoot myself, but failed to identify the exact issue. I called this morning and a technician showed up this evening. I explained what I had done, identified what I thought was the problem, and was ready to have repaired any issue it may have been. I honestly thought the gas valve had stopped working; an issue that could have cost upwards of $400-500. However, the technician looked at it, educated me about the system as he troubleshot it, and was able to get it working within 20-30 minutes. As I was walking to get my wallet, the technician told me to save my money and used it towards Thanksgiving! Even though he had fixed the issue, he was honest and very forthcoming about what the problem was. It was a simple loose/ corroded wiring connection. Other A/C and heating companies surely would have exploited the situation and made unnecessary repairs at a significant cost to me. Even with cash in hand ready and willing to pay for his time, he refused. He only asked for a handshake and to call them with any future issues! I am more than impressed with the services I have received from this company. I do not often write reviews, but I have to after this. My wife and children do not have to sleep in the cold tonight; all at zero cost to my family. I will be a lifelong customer after this year. From my experience this company does great work, but more importantly is also HONEST!
Fantastic service! Id give Ben and Polar Express even more stars if possible. Upstairs AC stopped overnight. Called Polar Express at 10am, received a text requesting address at 10:15am and Ben arrived as promised at 10:45am. Fixed our system by 11:00am. Pricing was very fair for the part (start capacitor) and labor. Ben was thorough, professional and didnt try to sell me a new AC system. Now, when people ask me if, Ive gotta AC Guy, Ill know who to recommend.
Let me first say that I have never had such an AMAZINGLY HONEST person as Ben. Words do this guy no justice. At the recommendation of a few of my neighbors I called Polar Express to get a second opinion. I told him I was quoted $2500 for a new blower motor by another company and given the option to just scrap the whole unit for a new one. When I tell you within minutes he diagnosed the issue and had my blower working like nothing was ever wrong. Most of us are not AC pros so we believe what we are being told by the professionals. I was about to taken advantage of and Ben could of done the same thing and just beat the price and I wouldnt have known any different, but he didnt. That says something about the character of person. I will definitely be calling Polar Express with any future needs, as well as recommending them to anyone who will listen. This is how a business should be run!!!!! Thank you Sir!

The team at Polar Express actually cares about you and not just your wallet.Always incredible service and professionalism. I found them years ago and we kept my old a/c going as long as possible. When it finally died we were treated very well and fast. I called the other day, after not needing them for 2 years, because of course the heater wouldnt work with very cold weather on the way and they came by within hours and made a quick fix. They truly are the best around. As long as I am in there service area I will trust them.
I barely write reviews, but this company is an exceptional case. Ben and his guys always provide the best service as well as the price. They have been doing tuneup services for me since a couple of years ago, they are always on time, very patient and professional. I called them a few days ago for the AC unit stopped blowing cold. I left a message and didn’t even expect they will show up the same day because it was memorial weekend. Ben returned my call in about 10 minutes and showed up in 20 minutes. He solved the problem right away. I highly recommend them.

They recently did a system install and fixed a number of problems left by previous contractors.Cory does a great job of walking you through how to address the problem and providing the peace of mind that theyll be around to handle anything that could go wrong. Wow! What great service all around! After my husband left a message, Bruce responded quickly via text and set up an appointment window from noon-2:00. He arrived around 1:00 and had our AC fixed within 30 minutes for a reasonable price. I highly recommend Polar Express!
I highly recommend Corey and the Polar Express team all day every day. Hands down they have built an excellent customer service and results reputation. They know what theyre doing for sure.I used my home warranty technician and was without air for days after multiple visits. With no working air conditioning, I was very close to losing my sanity and my brain cells being sweated out. Corey was able to make it out same day and corrected the mess they left behind. I have always recommended Ben and Cory over at Polar Express to any of my friends and family.Not only do they respond back in a timely manner but they are professional, punctual, honest and communicate if they are running late. They guys are the best. We have had some AC issues since we purchased our house and these guys are the first company I truly feel that I can trust. We have used about 3 other complained since I saw their reviews on Google and have them a chance. We called them out one time and he just had to change a setting and didnt charge me for the call (they probably dont want me to say that so done expect free service 😂). They found the problem and fixed it when other companies just want to get us on their yearly schedule to keep pumping money into the problem instead of eliminating it. Finding a company that cares more about the customer than anything else is rare. If you have AC issues, give Polar Express a try, they will be fair, honest and give you a good deal.
The reviews are all correct! My ac went out at night and was miserable, first thing in the morning I contacted 2 other companies and they were unavailable. Polar Express responded promptly with an estimated quote (reasonable price), and arrival time. Within two hours my A/C was fixed. The technician was friendly and professional. Im so happy with their service, Ill be making an appointment in September to schedule my regular a/c maintenance with them.
My husband and I bought our first house in March and within the first month the A/C went out. Being in this Texas heat we needed a fix quick. After calling and receiving a quote from John Moore (outrageously expensive) we knew we needed to call a local business who cared more about their customers than dollar signs. Cory was great! Being young and first time home buyers we didnt have the money to replace the entire unit and he was able to pinpoint an issue quickly and was able to fix it for under $100. He told us it wasnt a permanent fix (we need to replace the unit) but he guaranteed his work for 6 months. 7 months later and we still have not had a single issue! Not to mention, the price he quoted us for a new unit was $6,000 dollars less than John Moore. We were so happy with our experience and will continue to use Polar Express in the future!
Most trustworthy ac guys in Katy. Theyll always repair rather than replace, and will try to get you the cheaper option when possible. Once, in fact, the owner did a complementary repair because it only took a minute or so.
Holy cow!!! Where do I start??? Well, Im a local business owner here in Katy and I had been using another AC company for my AC needs. Seemed to be fine until I had an issue yesterday. I called the AC company I was using and they came right out. After inspecting the system they found quite a few issues. With an estimate in hand from $1500 for a simple flush and recharge up to $10K for a complete replacement of the system I was in shock. I decided to get a 2nd opinion so I found Polar Express. The owner him self came out at 8pm and found that the issue was far less severe than what I was expecting. He got me fixed up and my business is back to normal. Thanks Ben, youre the best!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST A/C COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED !!!!!!! I have had them out several times over the past 5-6 years. Every time, they amaze me even more. Today, I called at 4:50 pm and left a message not expecting to hear from them till Monday. Cory called me back at 5:41 pm and said he would come out to check my a/c after he finished one more call. He came out and checked the unit. He had to replace a burned part and also recharge with freon. By 7:50 pm, the a/c was running, cooling and he was headed to go make even more service calls.These guys are workaholics and as honest as they come. Their prices are very reasonable and their work is impeccable. You literally wont find anybody more polite and professional. They are super qualified and they do an incredible job extremely fast.If you want a company with refreshing old school ethics, professionalism and honesty, here you have it. These guys are a breath of fresh air - quite literally after they get your a/c going. I can see why Polar Express is always recommended on FB. My AC stopped working and was quickly up to 85 in the house. Called and they sent someone out very quickly. He saw what the problem was. Fixed it and was gone. I liked it because he did not try to sell me something I really did not need like some other AC companies have in the past. Top rated in my book and would recommend to anyone.
In an industry where we, as consumers, rarely know enough about the product to know if we are being swindled, it is nice to know someone out there is peddling honesty above reproach.Ben and company have been servicing our A/C unit every year since they did our initial home inspection in January 2015. We called Polar Express after getting a recommendation from someone in our neighborhood Facebook group. I called at 4:30 and Cory was here by 6. When the unit was still frozen, Cory came back around 8, just so that he could get it fixed the same day. He was super nice and super knowledgeable and had us up and running at an extremely reasonable price. Finding an honest service provider these days can be a challenge, but Polar Express exceeded it. We wont be using anyone else for any future AC issues.
Honest, Punctual and Very Friendly. Not only did Ben offer me free service (and excellent advise) but also helped me save money that I would have wasted instead. I will surely use them in future and refer them to my friends as well.Update: August 30 2019These guys are worth their weight in gold. The AC stopped cooling on Friday afternoon (of course) just in time for the long labor day weekend. I reached out to Polar Express and they scheduled an appointment for the same evening. Bruce arrived punctually and diagnosed the issue with accuracy. He refused to charge us as the issue was relatively minor. In short - this was, is and will be my go-to company for all AC needs. A+++
Polar Express is by far the best ac & heating company I have ever worked with. Long story short, after two very costly leaks, two plumbers and two ac guys, the Polar Express team finally found what was causing the leak and fixed it quickly. I have used them for four of my homes, and I always appreciate their honesty and professionalism. They are very good at trying to give you the most economical path forward, so you know if they tell you you need a new unit, its the truth. I highly recommend Polar Express AC & Heating of Katy, TX.
They are the best ! They have saved me thousands of dollars by fixing what was broken. I can not say enough about the honesty of the company. I have used them I know at least 3 times over the years and two times were in holidays ! Their prices are the best there are. No holiday up charge, no late night or weekend up charge. I just had to call them out this morning I had appointment for them between 3-5 I text him when I left my office we met at my house at the 3:30. Minutes into the exam (I’m a nurse) the problem was diagnosed. He left for a part said he’d be “about an hour and half” he was back in 40 minutes. 11 minutes to replace the part and no pocket digging! I love these guys. I left this review now because I realized google was the only place I didn’t post the previous times I’ve used them. You won’t be disappointed!Thank you all !!!
I searched online for a A/C & heating company for a while and I decided to go with Polar Express because of the great reviews. The reviews were right! Bruce came out today for tune up of our A/C unit. We bought a house recently with the original unit and wanted to get a check up. It was fast, professional and no pushing to buy a new unit even though our is 22 years old and might have seen better days. There was a small issue but it was fixed and the initial service fee was even waived because of the small repair. I can only agree with other reviewers that this company tries to fix units rather than trying to sell you something new.
We had at least 8 different AC companies come out to fix and/or replace our AC unit and give an estimate. The range was from $7,000-$10,000. Polar Express was our last option before we resorted to financing a new system. Ben came out within the hour and fixed the problem for a fraction of the price. Our house is finally cool and right in time for summer. Ben is such a blessing...saved our family thousands of dollars! Cannot express how thankful we are! Thank you from the Gibsons!!
My AC went out at 8pm and was fixed at 9am the next morning. I called after hours, left a message and was immediately texted back with a few troubleshooting suggestions to try. Ben diagnosed the issue over text message and sent a technician first thing the next morning. Cory showed up exactly when he said he would the next morning and had the AC fixed within 15 min. Polar Express has been highly recommended from people Ive talked to and they lived up to that expectation. Cost for repair was very reasonable, prompt and excellent service. Polar Express will always be my first call for AC issues.
Id been struggling with an ac problem (new installation done as in like for like) for months. Had 4 different ac companies (some big, some small) come in and all of them stated that I had to add an additional unit which would have been extremely pricey. Called Ben as I saw great reviews on the facebook page of my community. He found the problem in no time. Turned out to be a valve that was not rightly turned. AC is cooling much better, as in night and day difference. And Ben did not even charge for it! stating that he just came out for an estimate.Ben and Polar Express are my go to ac experts now. And I am recommending to all of my family and friends if they have an issue. Its hard to find people with this level of professionalism and honesty. Our air conditioning went out on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We had out of town company and one of our visitors has health issues. I panicked about not having a comfortable environment for her. I like to recommend this company to anybody. This is the first AC company that actually come out to repair an old AC system, instead of telling you and selling you a new unit. Bruce came out and fixed the problems that were going on and gave his professional opinion about both the upstairs and downstairs units at the house. He gave some advice on why the temperatures were not as low in the house as in the past. There was no sales pitch or criticizing the owner for running an old system. Called at 7:30 this morning because our unit wasnt running and Cory was here by 9:30. He was so nice and extremely professional. He found the problem quickly and had everything he needed in his truck to fix it then and there. He even told me what I could do to prevent the problem in the future. He also answered all of my questions that I had, not even pertaining to that particular problem. He took a look at everything and told me my options! Hands down BEST A/C repair visit I have ever had! Ben and Tre were great. My A/C went out. Ben and Tre from Polar Express came out just a few hours after I called them. They fixed my issue in about 2 minutes and were not even going to charge me. I know nothing about A/C but they calmly explained everything to me (they really know A/C) and then told me some inexpensive things I could do to help keep it running longer and more efficient and told me why and how. I got them done and now my A/C runs better than it has since the house was new! They were extremely knowledgeable, took great care to not mess up my house, very professional and very inexpensive. I will be using them for all my A/C issues from now on. It is so hard to find a decent A/C repairman that will not try to overcharge you, I wanted to let people know about these guys. Amazing! Called, the owner Ben answered, he diagnosed the problem over the phone and told me the price. This is different than the usual service call fee, plus whatever it is to fix the issue plus same day fee plus extra fees. He came at the time he told me, which was on the same day, and was right about the issue. He fixed it pretty quick and I paid the exact quote he gave over the phone. Like many of the other reviewers have already said, he seems like a genuinely nice guy that was there to help! Highly recommend this company!
Ben and his team are prompt, courteous and did a great job on my AC repair. It was the hottest week of the summer but they managed to get here and fix the issue very quickly. They explain exactly what is going on & their prices are good as well.
This is a first class operation. Bruce came out, on time, and diagnosed my AC problem. A leaking Goodman coil. We scheduled to have it replaced. The crew showed up, they knew exactly what to do and was very efficient. Then Bruce came back to inspect the work. They did a great job.I can honestly say these guys were great and I would recommend them to anyone. When you hire people these days you never know what you are going to get. Get these guys and you will not be sorry.
I have been using then for 4 years now, since I bought my house. Cory is always on time ( even when Im not). They are flexible with schedules, reasonable rates but most importantly they are trust worthy. My first interaction with them came as a second opinion after the company I called from angies list told my roomate I needed to redo my whole a.c. system and there was a dangerous leak etc on the house no had just bought. When Cory with polar express showed up he checked it out said it needed a flush, and the issue was resolved in less than an hour with no further issue. Im getting the freon topped off as I write this review. When you find someone good you stick with them and polar express is a good one.
I highly recommend this business. I have used them twice for two separate ac issues. Each time they responded quickly and repaired the problems at an extremely fair price. This last time, in the middle of the summer and their busy season, I called at 7:00 p.m. I intended to leave a message and just get in their line for service. Cory returned my call within 5 minutes. He was on his way home but, since my AC was out, he turned around and came to our house. He spent almost two hours and repaired my AC. I could tell he was extremely tired but did not let that stop him. By the time he was finished, he was using a flashlight outside to complete the repairs (it was too dark to see). I recommend this company highly.
I cant believe a company like this even exists! AMAZING! First of all, when I called, I got Bens full attention and some try it yourself fixes and tests which he had me do for free. Now THAT is great service. When we couldnt pinpoint the issue over the phone, he came right over. Literally within the hour. He dealt with the issue super quickly, gave us some education along the way, and he wouldnt even let me tip him! Fantastic company, great guy, and we will Never even consider using anyone else!
These guys are always professional and timely. They’re in demand so you have to realize your case will be prioritized according to need but when they come they do a great job. Never up sell and regularly repair, not replace. I can’t say enough good things about them. We had a 7 week old baby and an ac that went out in July. They were here same day and fixed the issue in about 20 minutes with the right parts. Communicated on the way, got the job done right. We use them for regular service and maintenance as well as big issues.

For those that say they don’t call back, their answering machine literally says texting is the preferred method of communication- assuming because they are always on the road. Received a text response within 5 minutes, was scheduled within 15 minutes and Bruce texted me a day early to see if he could swing by since he was in the neighborhood - even though it was after 6 pm. Outstanding customer service and professionalism. Found this company via our neighborhood Facebook page and will not use anyone else going forward. Great job guys!!!

I have been without AC for 3 Days in my new house!!!!!! 100 degrees outside, 85 to 95 degrees in my house for 3 DAYS!!!!! It has been a nightmare dealing with my home warranty company and the vendor (ROYAL AIR) 👎👎👎👎👎👎, reported that I had a lightning strike and would NOT cover the repairs ($1500).. the very incompetent, RUDE TECH said it would take 5 to 7 days to FIX!!! IN TEXAS!!! WHO CAN LIVE LIKE THAT? After enough complaining, I finally got approval from my warranty co. to get my own vendor... Ben from Polar Express came out within hours and REPAIRED my unit on the spot for a quarter of the cost, which will now be approved by my warranty co!!!! Great service and more than fair pricing! My AC started making a loud vibrating sound. I called and they came in about 2 hours. The noise was a stick-on air freshener I had placed on the filter. It came off and was crashing around in the fan. Ben didn’t charge me at all! I would have gladly paid a service call! Above and beyond fair! Thanks Ben!!
Called Polar Express 6pm on a Sunday for an a/c outside unit that totally stopped, expecting maybe a callback tomorrow to schedule service. Cory and team are top notch. Their honesty and quality of work can’t be beat. I nearly spent $9,000 on a new downstairs unit for another company and Cory came in and told me what the real need was for my system. His honesty ended up saving me $6000. Absolutely amazing customer service. Texted at 5:29PM AC blowing hot air. Ben responded at 5:32 saying he would be here between 7pm - 9pm. He arrived at 7:30pm, it was just a capacitor that died. Replaced that and was headed back to his truck by 7:45pm. I told him, let me get my credit card. He informed me the capacitor was in warranty, so no charge. I was like, what about your time? His response was, We should have put in a better quality capacitor the first time. Un-freaking-believable! Prompt, courteous, and an almost unheard of customer service. Cant say enough about these guys, Polar Express came to the rescue. Called in at 7am and reached a live person who was prompt and courteous. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. During the visit Bruce was dispatched and called to inform me he was running a bit late, and still ended up showing up on time. unfortunately the issues kept spiriling and where a normal tech would have thrown in the towel and just charged for the more expensive and extensive replacement, Bruce went the extra mile and kept at it until cold air was blowing again. Our A/C stopped working yesterday evening, after business hours. I scheduled an appointment this morning and was told a technician could be here between 6 - 8 pm. Ben texted me several times to let me know hed get to our house earlier than expected, which I so appreciated. He was at the door with a big smile, and a very pleasant, very professional, attitude. My AC was broken Saturday afternoon. I called couple of AC services and none of them could come out and I had to wait till Monday. I tried Sunday morning around 7:30 am to see if I am lucky enough to find someone who can at least help diagnose the problem. Ben took my call immediately, and I got my problem fixed around noon. My AC unit suddenly stopped working and no cooling effect. Called Cory and left the voice message. He responded back in 20 minutes and came and fixed the issue within 4 hours for very nominal price. I would say they are very responsible and customer friendly. Surely recommend them for fast, friendly and reasonable solution.
We had an issue with our system in which most companies would have pushed for a entire system replacement. Ben was honest and upfront in discussing the options available. His philosophy is is to fix and repair until theres no other choice. We spoke of potential up and down sides to each option. I highly recommend Ben, he understands that its better to build honest relationships that will result in further business and referrals down the road than the quick buck in one shot. I respect that, and am extremely happy we have found someone we can happily refer and count on now and in the future.
I have had problems with my ac on and off for a couple years. Ive had the whole outdoor unit replaced just last year. I googled ac companies, and was very fortunate to find them and saw nothing but positive reviews. I was very concerned about being taken advantage of. They fixed my problem for just $200 and guaranteed it for a year! They are honest good people who do not try to take advantage of you!!. I would recommend them to any one who needs ac work done. I am beyond pleased, especially with a great price and a proper working AC unit now. It only took about an hour to finish the job, and they were also very informative on what to be aware of in case problems occur in the future. 5 stars rating isnt enough. 10/10 stars from me
Cory is absolutely amazing! He came out to help me with a heating issue when another company was giving me the run around. Cory was thorough, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He took the time to really investigate the issue - not just do an easy, temporary fix like the other company - but really find the root cause of the problem. He was patient and kind in explaining things to me. This is a top-notch company, a stand out from the rest!
I cannot say enough good things about Ben and his knowledge. Over the years, weve had MULTIPLE AC companies come out to try and figure out why the humidity was so high in our home, and why we always saw mildew. Not one of them ever gave us a solid answer nor fixed the problem. We just got the same TX is humid and system is fine answer from all of them. Ben actually REALLY inspected the unit, and had to take some things apart to actually look at it properly and see the problems. None of which any other company ever did. He came out on a weekend initially, and suggested we try all the free fixes first (who does that?) and if they didnt work, then recommended the next steps. We did have to end up changing out some things, and he just completed the repairs today, and the house is already feeling so much better. He is always quick to reply, and so helpful in explaining things to someone who has no idea about AC systems. My only downside is that we didnt find him earlier, but glad we FINALLY are looking up, fingers crossed! Definitely going to be recommending him to all family and friends.

We’ve had recent experiences with a few other companies - only due to home warranty - and I couldn’t do it anymore. Decided enough is enough and to call the team I trust. Cory came out today on time and were very professional (I called about 10AM on Saturday and he arrived right before noon which is the beginning of the appointment time of 12-2PM). He help diagnosed and fixed the problem that another local HVAC companys technician created when they did the tune-up (and we almost paid $6K to replace the unit because of the issue they created) in 5 minutes. He also showed me (which I agree) how this other previous services (replacing motor condenser, contactor, capacitor) I received from another company last year was done in a down and dirty way and helped fix it.This company is very straight forward to deal with and Cory showed me every step of the ways on what he is doing (compared to this other company which I will be writing a review for them for the issue they created). They also do not take approach of just recommend you to replace everything and give you valuable information for you to make decisions as if this is for their own houses. I will stick with them on the future services and will recommend them to anyone.
Had an issue after having my WIFI modem changed that caused the Thermostat to have to be reconnected to Honeywell service. After the new connection was established the heater was no longer blowing warm air. Bruce from Polar Express air returned my call and after learning what was happening walked me through a couple of easy steps and the heater began to work again as normal. This was such a relief on a cold week and whenever I may need service in the future I will gladly call Polar Express before my home warranty.

They have me over a barrel, and I guess I have to pay “x” because this is necessary.” I can tell you this with confidence — you will NOT feel this way with Ben and Corey. Cory and Ben are the BEST!! I have had the pleasure of interacting with with both of these gentlemen when my heat in my home was not working. I must say, they have the BEST customer service of any company I have ever used. They called back right away (even when I called at 9pm on a Sunday night) and fixed the problem quickly. Not only are they very good at what they do, but I felt like they truly cared and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Not having heat when its 40 degrees outside and you have a small baby is a scary thing...thank goodness, Polar Express came to the rescue! Will use them for all of my HVAC needs.

My AC went out the night before hurricane was possible to hit the area (not to mention how swamped they must be this time of year when temperatures rocket to triple digits!) I called Polar Express at 7:30 am to see if I could get someone to come out to my house THAT day (air condition problems are always an emergency), I spoke to Ben and let him know what my problem was. He happened to be booked for the day, but said he would try and squeeze me in between appointments while out in my area. Not only did he come by , but he got my unit running until my replacement part comes in. These guys will be who I call and recommend from now on.
On a miserably hot Sunday afternoon in August my AC started to fail. I had just had recent spinal surgery and my heat tolerance was minimal. My call to Polar was immediately answered and within an hour a very polite service technician was at my door. He completely checked out my system and was unable to find anything wrong. But before he could leave, the system shut down again. This time he found a clogged drain hose and immediately took care of it. What a relief! I’m so grateful for the service and I’ll never call anyone else when I need AC services.
Ben was extremely informative and helpful during a small moment of crisis. Furnace stopped working intermittently during the week temperatures dropped below freezing. Turns out our AC unit had a famously bad blower. Ben and Trey came over and gave me all of the information and options available, and did a phenomenal job replacing the bad blower with a warranty replacement. But prior to that Ben walked me through various troubleshooting steps over the phone. He was intent on doing everything possible to get our AC/Heater working even if it meant that we could get it working over the phone without him charging for showing up! I truly admire his ethic and cant thank him enough for the amazing service and helpfulness.I honestly hope we dont have many AC issues in the future, but if we ever do, I will never call anybody else. Excellent service. I was out of town when our A/C broke down. My wife had called some other guys, who left a few wires dangling and a few screws loose after their inspection along with an $1800 estimate! I called Polar Express for a second opinion, and not only did I get a very courteous service, but fixed the A/C for like $250. I was extremely pleased.
I had several different companies, small and large, come and diagnose my problem dealing with our AC and the first large company said I needed a whole new system. Polar Express came to my door and did a full diagnosis and discovered that all I needed was a capacitor and a new contact. These guys really care about the quality of their work and their customers. After a couple of company suggested that I really need to replace my unit, I stumbled upon Polar Express and contacted Ben. He first tried to diagnose the problem through text and even suggested a few things that I should try to fix the problem. He then came over at 1900 to check it out. Needless to say, he was able to fix the problem and even gave me pointers on what to do to prevent it from happening again. This guy was awesome here it was on Feb 16 close to 5pm after one of coldest nights history here in Katy were without power for 3 days no heat. Once power came on our Furnace stopped working. Another freezing Same day service, we called mybe 10-15 other companies to put on wait list as they were not operating due to road icy road conditions. I love this company! The techs that came to my house were so nice and they explained everything to me. Im always apprehensive of workman coming to my home without my hubby here. They totally made me feel comfortable. They fixed the problem in a very short time and they have good prices. I will continue to use them if anything else should happen to my a/c unit. We’ve used Polar Express a few times for service and, for some reason, we had other companies come out to quote replacing our A/C units. We have Lennox units and we got quotes of almost $20k and one over $20k for non-Lennox units. We decided to have Polar Express come out and quote a new system and they told us the units are still in good shape, just need to replace the coils (and a few other things that came out to a fraction of the cost to replace the whole system) and should last us several more years. It’s extremely refreshing to walk into a situation willing to pay for a whole new system where they can stand to make a lot of money but they do the honest thing, the thing they would do if it was their house and money. In addition to that, Bruce is just a really great person and I can’t say enough good things about him and this company.
So Ben, Corey, Coyt and Bruce with Polar Express are lifesavers. Have had them out numerous times for AC issues and they fix it right, the first time, every time. They are on time and are there when you need them...even after the floods and there’s a ton of work to get done. Can’t say enough good things!! As far as customer service, value and price are concerned these guys have it on point!!!
5 stars is not enough! I would give 10 stars if I could. I had two other companies tell me that my upstairs unit was a “lost cause” and I would definitely, without question, need to replace it. I called Polar Express and Bruce let me know that while the units are older, my actual problem was a valve and would NOT have to scrap the whole unit. One of the previously mentioned companies was going to “help me out” and replace the unit for $7000. The other company was going to do me an even bigger favor by replacing both units for $20k. I’m glad I did myself a favor and called Polar Express instead. I really can’t put a value on their honesty. These guys are true consumer advocates.

We called Polar Express to give an estimate on replacing our 2 furnaces. We had been told they needed to be replaced by 4 other business. Ben told me that he if he installed a furnace where I live in the Heights, there could be a delay for service later on. I said that it should be ok. So, he sent Bruce *the next day* to assess our situation. Here is where it gets interesting: Bruce said we *did not* need new furnaces, that ours had plenty of life left in them and that we should do nothing now. Wow! Four other HVAC businesses were telling us to replace our furnaces for around $7000; that our furnaces were on their last legs at 17 years. Call Polar Express if you think you need a new furnace. These are honest straight-shooting guys. I almost wish I lived in Katy so Polar Express could service what I still have. Thanks Ben and Bruce!

I called these guys based off the reviews because I received a ridiculously high quote from another company that I knew was BS. They installed a $150 fix to my problem versus quoting me $2,800 for something I did not need. They obviously care about their customers and are more concerned with repeat and referral business than making a quick buck. Hands down the best experience I have had with a home service provider.
My AC broke down this morning and thats never good news. I called Ben, left a voice mail. He called me back immediately and 3 hours later my AC was working again. I cant say enough good things about him. He is a great guy to work with, doesnt charge you and arm and a leg, answers/replies your calls and does everything he can to have your unit up and running as soon as possible. Would recommend him without hesitation.
After hours response to fill our unit and diagnose problem with no charge. Accurate and honest diagnosis with very knowledgeable crew (they found the full route cause of my problem- something the other guys missed). Only bad thing was I had an issue with construction debris once the new air handler was installed but they were very responsive to my complaint and were willing to come make things right. Overall it was a refreshing experience compared to what Ive received with the larger guys.

They save me!!!! The AC broke down while I was at work and my husband was in the house. I told him that the card for Polar Express was in the refrigerator but he couldn’t find it so he called someone else, those guys told my husband that we needed to buy a new AC system. Obviously I wasn’t happy with that answer so I called Polar Express, Corey came to the house and told us the problem was the wires and the maintenance (cleaning) we have done to the unit in less than 20 minutes we had AC again!!! They are impressive. I will never trust someone else with my AC.

Best emergency response in the middle of a hot summer! Like other customers, would have given more stars if I could:) Our upstairs ac unit stopped working late last night. In the morning the temperature started raising way past 80 degrees. Called Polar Express, send a text message as directed by their automatic response, got a response back in 5 mins! The a/c technician was able to come in a couple of hours! Diligently identified and fixed the problem! Luckily, it was not a major issue! The a/c is back on!

Air Conditioner broke down.. Went online and asked for recommendations. Polar Express looked promising. They exceeded my expectations.. VERY reasonably priced... Best customer service. Fixed the problem.. and we are happy campers.
Overnight my downstairs AC went out and my wife is 34 weeks pregnant. Contacted Polar Express and was able to get them over before the close of business to fix the A/C as it was nearly 88 degrees downstairs with it making our upstairs rise as well (approximately 82 degrees). Bob came out and replaced the condenser on the broken AC, sprayed it down, and by bedtime my family was able to get a good nights rest. Thank you guys for coming to our rescue because my wife would probably have died...literally from the heat. Told us some other things to do for annual maintenance and their service was impeccable. I give five stars to polar express. Ben and his crew are always performing satisfactory. I called and texted Ben today in regards to my A/C and he texted back with instructions on what to do. Unfortunately my relay switch was broke and needed replaced. He arrived in a timely manner and replaced the part. Extremely thankful for such ELITE service.
Professional, timely, easy to understand, treats you like a person, reasonable pricing. As a woman, I appreciated that I wasnt talked down to or patronized. Clear explanations were given, and I was able to observe the process. Ive lived in Katy for 10 years, and I wish I had found this company earlier! Definitely have a dedicated customer in me, and I will recommend to anyone who needs HVAC services in the area.
Last year, the sink through which the AC drains was making a rhythmic gurgling sound. An unnamed AC repair company came out, didnt fix it, fiddled with some other stuff and recommended expensive repairs. Polar Express came out and installed a u-joint in the AC drain PVC in the attic; problem solved. Recently, I noticed that the overflow spout would drip water at about noon that would become a steady stream by evening even though the system should be performing fine and we change the filters regularly. I called Polar Express and left a message describing the problem. Ben soon texted me back, asking if I was handy or if I wanted to make an appointment. Ben then called and instructed me the best way to remove the hose through which the AC drains in to the plumbing under the sink and to send him photos of the water that drains out. Sure enough, it was blocked right where he said it would be blocked. So, the problem was solved by a phone call, a large salad bowl to catch nasty water and a flathead screw driver. A less honest AC company would likely have tried to take us for a ride. Yay Ben!
We were wiped out by Harvey and were left with one small a/c to try to keep our second floor where we were living cool. Polar Express came out three times to get it to keep spinning. He looked inside the house and saw nothing but studs. No charge. Now we can offer some payback by spending some insurance money for them to put in a new system.
Anyone needing AC repair should call these guys! Woke up this morning to a hot house, called them and even though they were super busy and it’s a Saturday, he fit us in. Ben came by and diagnosed our problem, had the part and fixed it within 10 minutes. Highly recommend this company and will call him again the next time we have a problem!!!
On his way home at 7:30pm Ben not only took my call, but came by to diagnose my problem. He tried an interim fix which lasted a while but we know now we have a leak. The 20 yr old compressor must be replaced. Ben gave us a fair quote and will be back in 2 days to do the work. I dont think we will be calling anyone else in the future.
These guys are the best I’ve ever used. Excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable and honest. Ben and Corey are incredibly nice and I have total comfort with them being in the house when I am not. If you need AC service these are the guys to call.
Cory and his team are the best. While 2 others tried to rip me off as home owner and tried to take advantage of the situation, Cory and his team saved us $ to change only what’s required. Very honest. God bless them. Will definitely be sticking with them for years to come.

Words cant described how awesome these guys are! They were able to give me a quote on how much the repair would cost over the phone with several scenarios...so not surprise about the cost of repair! They came out and fixed the problem...and even fixed another issue that I had! The best of the best....and they are my go-to guys for life! :)
Shout out to Polar Express! We have always used them for our A/C and heating services. Freeze warning scheduled for tomorrow and Tuesday, and my heater goes out. They were kind enough to squeeze me in tonight. Fixed it as usual...the heat feels good!
Let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews, but these guys deserved it! Being a single woman i find it difficult to find honest people who will not try to get over. They added an additional air duct in my attic for a reasonable price. They were on time, and very professional. Definitely will use them again for my AC and heating needs.
On a Friday night at 8:30 I called for help. Ben tried to troubleshoot over the phone. Wow, who does that?! He came over in 30 minutes and had it fixed in no time. Im saving his business card for the rest of my life. Thanks Ben for being prompt, honest, and helpful.
I still cant believe this guy.I had called the company I normally use to fix my a/c and the estimate was $1322 for IHP blower motor.I decided to have a second opinion and called Polar Express A/C. This guy was in my house within 2 hours, fixed it within 15 min and he only charged for a fuse.Total repair cost was 1/10th of the original estimate.
I have had Polar express out to my house twice. Once for a yearly maintenance check and once for a service call. They are the a perfect model for service that offer excellent, honest, friendly service!

Called at 6pm and left a voicemail. They called right back and came out by 7pm. Helped troubleshoot our outside A/C unit and got it working again and made suggestions for improving our A/C systems wiring which was done incorrectly. Will definitely be calling to install that new wire and if I have any more issues.
I called Ben ( Owner of Polar Express ) back in early June as my AC system was not cooling properly and after checking he found it was about 2lbs low on Freon so he charged it and made a pretty quick accurate diagnosis of the issue but said he was so busy he just wanted to get it going and keep us comfortable until he had time to check for a leak and he did that in fact and left without charging me, I was like WHAT !!!! That is so unheard of today with all the money driven companies that always have you reaching for your wallet.Fast forward 6 weeks in the heat of summer the AC was again low on Freon so Ben to the rescue again and said he was super busy getting 200+ calls a day that him and his other two techs run, this time he went into the attic to verify his initial diagnosis and said the evap coil had a slow leak and replacement was needed and this unit was only 4 years old and was under warranty but after discussing the warranty coil option from the builder and seeing 3 of my neighbors have the same equipment and they went with the warranty coil but one of the 3 neighbors is already having issues and it’s only been a few months so I discussed what was my best choice and Ben suggested a better made coil with a redesigned box and yes it was more but the warranty option would only be a 1 year warranty and the new design has a 10 year on parts and 2 years on labor so that’s what I decided I was going with but before he left he again charged my system and left me with no bill so this was the second time of not charging me but we had a date to to the repair work but the second charge only lasted about 10 days so he came about again and charged it the 3rd time and put me on an expedited list for replacement but just like the first 2 times no charge.When Bens crew showed up today they were super fast and were in and out in about 2 hrs and then Ben came by to just check it all out and tell me about the warranty and service upkeep and my plan is to have him come by in the spring and do all my spring and fall service on my HVAC equip, being here in Katy Texas a furnace is not a critical as A/CSo in closing I am hoping I have no other issues with the rest of the equipment that was not replaced but if I do Ben from Polar Express will get the business, this guy is the perfect business model of what customers need as he works tirelessly to put you as the customer his top priority
Shout out to Bruce from Polar Express A/C and the team that made things happen today. Great job! We had a ac unit drain hose clog and water was dripping into bedroom. Bruce called to let us know when he was on his way, arrived promptly and completed the work in a professional matter. He took the time to explain his work and that was greatly appreciated. My ac stopped blowing cool air, I called ARS they came out and said the cost of fixing would be $1800 dollars and it wasnt even worth it, I should just replace the unit for 12 thousand dollars with them. I went online to get a second opinion and found polar express, i called Ben and he came 30 minutes later on Tuesday at 7pm, took him 20 minutes to solve the problem, all it needed was freon which is what I originally called ARS for. This Guy is honest and fair, I would refer him to all my friends and family. Need more people like him in this world!!!
Called on Wed - they are busy start of season, and my issues was not an emergecny. Thery arrived on Friday. My issue was upstairs unit was not cooling adequately. Tech inspected outside unit, then went to attic to look at blower. The door to the inside filter was open resulting in the AC sucking in hot air. I felt like such an idiot. Offered to pay, and they refused saying thats not how it works, I didnt do anything. - ou dont find honesty today like that. Highly recommended.

HVAC (Heating,Ventilation, AC ) is Polar Express Business. So this week Houston hit the 90s and of course with extra load one of my old 2008 A/Cs went down just when we had visitors. I called them first 2017, Heating failed, they came with 3 guys (Boss+trainees) , fixed and it ran all winter, no charge! but told me to save up as I probably needed a board. Winter 2018 heating failed, they came out within 24hrs, yep bad board, sorted. A/C went down, changed a condenser, again yesterday, condenser the other. Fees fair I guess but Ive never felt Ive been oversold, no hard sell on changing my HVAC systems...Ive a pretty decent system it seems, things changed in the new millennium. Even when they are at full stretch like now they managed to come by in 10 hours from a voice message left at 11pm. Ive had no failures on any work they have done and they are a tru Pro outfit in my opinion.

Shout out to Ben with Polar Express. Our air conditioner sounded like a helicopter taking off! Called them at 8 am. Bruce was here at 9. Diagnosed, quoted and went to get the part. Arrived back around 11 and was finished in an hour and the charge was exactly what they quoted.
My 20 year old furnace was not working properly and I thought I was going to need a new one. Cory stopped by and found a wasp nest in the exhaust. Only cost me a service fee! He easily could have just looked and said I need a new one but he took the time to inspect the whole system. Very grateful!!!

This a weird one, they were actually very busy to come to my house this week, but then why would I give them 5 stars then? Because they walked me through the actual fix for my issue (drain pan overflowing). I thought that was awesome customer service, they wanted to make sure I was taken care of even if they could not visit me.
