Ruben and his team were responsive, trustworthy and went above & beyond to make sure they recommended what I needed and not just to try and oversell. I had a couple HVAC contractors recommend solutions all over the place and needing multiple trips to inspect but Ruben was able to get everything inspected on the first visit and made the best recommendation for my home. He was able to start the project literally the next day and get all of our ducts replaced and redone, change out and install the new units. Our airflow is so much better now and ended up saving us about $150 a month off our electricity bill with how much more efficient everything is running.

My a/c went out in the evening and Ruben offered to come immediately. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make that work but he came first thing the next morning. Ruben is very professional and knowledgeable. He addressed my issue quickly and even helped remove an odor coming from one area.

Showed up same day and fixed my AC. I thought for sure it was so old Id new a new one. But Ruben fixed it up. He volunteered to come late in the day even though I said it could wait until the next day, and got me completely fixed up. Super nice guy, reasonable prices, and very honest. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Ill first say Ill recommend Ruben and his company all day every day.My senior mom (in Houston) texted me (in San Antonio) after 5:00 on the Saturday before Memorial Day to tell me her house was 85 and the a/c was blowing but it wasnt cold. I set up a project her and Ruben (owner) reached out to me and after I explained the situation said he could be there by 7.He arrived timely and mom said he was friendly, professional and just a super nice guy. He did a thorough check and said the unit was 20 yrs old but still working and he believed a thorough cleaning of everything would take care of the problem. That being said, he said he couldnt guarantee how long it would last. I appreciated the honesty. Mom was going to go with that option as shes older and didnt want to spend money on a new unit and not know how long she had. He didnt try to push a new unit on her and said he would do everything he could to keep it running. He said hed try to make it Sunday but it would most likely be Monday.Monday comes and mom decides she wants a new unit put it. He orders it and sets it up for Tuesday. Tuesday morning comes and Rubens crew comes in and gets to work. They worked steady and hard to instal a new system and reinforce the duct work. They were all super nice and professional. Ruben had to leave so came back Tuesday for payment. There was an issue with the credit card so he had no problem emailing me the invoice to get it taken care of.His price was fair (he wasnt trying to take advantage of a senior woman), he wasnt pushy, he worked quick, was polite and friendly and professional. My mom says the same about his employees. He also kept me updated every step of the way.

Ruben came out the same day to give me a quote for a replacement system. He was honest and knowledgeable. Didnt try to upsell me on anything I didnt need. Definitely recommend.

Ruben is a delight to work with. He and his team installed a new unit and redid all the ductwork in the spring. I dont know all the technical jargon, but they made a lot of changes! The results were air in our house that was noticeably cleaner smelling, efficient airflow to all rooms, and a functioning AC system.We had an issue arise recently, and within 24 hours, Ruben had it resolved. I appreciate the professionalism and quality of work. I will be recommending Complete Efficiency System to all my friends who have AC needs, and I encourage you to stop researching reviews and just call Ruben.

Reuben is honest, professional, and highly knowledgeable about HVAC systems. He and his team did a FANTASTIC job installing a completely new unit. They were on time, friendly, responsive, and took time and pains to explain everything to us. Additionally, they were much more affordable than other options. I highly recommend their services.

5-star all around. I cannot say enough. My AC went out on Friday. Ruben and his team came out on Saturday morning and was able to replace my condenser + coil + lineset before 4PM. My A/C stopped working on a Saturday afternoon... These guys were here within 30 minutes and had me back up and runnung within an hour. Very couteous and professional service, but what I appreciate most is that he was willing to actually diagnose and repair my equipment instead of automatically selling me a new unit. It turned out later that my condensing unit had a leak in the coil so I ended up getting a new condenser and they got it installed quickly, the work was thorough, and the cost was absolutely reasonable. Ruben Tellez was the specialist and he gets my best recomendations. Great job and no hassle experience!

My AC went out in August in Houston on a 105 degree day. I had a number of other companies turn me down due to the business of the season. Reuben was able to come out, quickly assess the issue and fix it. He also went above and beyond to make sure that any other potential issues would be minimized as much as possible due to the age of my AC unit. Hes very thorough in explaining the whole process if youre interested in listening. I highly recommend CES services and will continue to use them in the future.Lastly, they offer a seasonal checkup on heating in the fall and AC in the spring. I will be using this service because preventative maintenance, is the best maintenance.

The AC broke. I had four companies come out to look at it. One would not guarantee the work and thought I should get a new system. The second cleaned the unit outside and the unit worked better for a day. They then quoted me 15k for a new system, and the third quoted me 10k for new system. Ruben came in and repaired the system and when there were problems after the repair, he came right back. He is hard working, honest, and accountable. His professionalism is refreshing.

Ruben responded quickly and seemed knowledgeable and honest over the phone. Even though Ruben has a service fee I decided to go with him anyways and im glad I did. It was worth every penny.Ruben was communicative regarding the timing of the appointment. He kept me updated about the ETA (est. time of arrival). After diagnosing the problem and answering numerous questions I had, he explained several options that could be done. I have no doubt he was being honest. He explained the pros and cons of each option. After some more time he even thought outside the box and offered me another solution that was even more cost effective. That meant he would have less work. Simply AMAZING!!!I ended up proceeding with a few of his recommendations and the outside the box solution. Ruben worked on it quickly. After each task he showed it and explained it to me. Although im not an HVAC expert Im fairly technical since i have an engineering background, Im confident in his work. He even offered a warranty on his work. Thats how much he believes in himself.Ruben (CES) may not seem cheapest guy out there at first but after considering his honesty and him not trying to upsell you, he might be the most affordable one.If you care about HONESTY, QUALITY, and good service then Ruben with CES is your guy! I will not hesitate to call him in the future.

If I could give Ruben and Complete Efficiency Systems 25 stars I would.A little back story; I have a very small leak in a coil on my inside unit. I learned this because I got recommendations on FaceBook and the first contractor (Texas Comfort Systems) said, small leak, we dont repair leaks, you need to replace both the inside and outside unit for $11k+. I asked them to leave my house because the tech spent more time trying to justify how it will save me money to buy new units as opposed to fixing the leak. (His pitch ended when I said, Id pay for the new units if he could show me the math on how this will save me money, but if you cant show me how Ill save money - you pay. Sound fair?)After many calls to many contractors, Complete Efficiency Systems checked out the system, cleaned the inside and outside coils, fixed the leak, replaced the freon and got the AC working great, AND saved me over $9,000. Plus, they said if the unit finally dies in the next year a portion of what I paid now could be put toward a new unit. HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT?!!

Its all true! Reuben showed up, diagnosed my A/C issue in under 2 minutes flat, fixed it and then cleaned up afterwards. Dont be fooled by YouTube advice, this guy gets it. Looking forward to doing more business with him in December to get my system replaced. Thanks, Reuben!

10/10 recommend. I originally reached out to CES after researching and talking to several companies to quote me on HVAC repair in the middle of summer. Ruben (CES) stood out in his professionalism and his knowledge of the HVAC systems. He gave me a couple of repair options and pricing for my old HVAC units, and did a great job and had my units up and cooling in no time. He stands by his work and is always thinking of the customer first. I had such a great experience, that I decided to replace my old HVAC units through Ruben during the winter. I’m 8 months pregnant, and my husband and I work long shifts. Ruben was able to meet us on our time, within an hour of reaching out! It was such a relief!
