Every other HVAC contractor confirmed my findings and recommended a replacement. However, when I spoke with Mike at Bill Anderson, he was the only one who took the time to investigate further. He ultimately advised that as long as my system was running well, there was no need to replace it. He explained that furnaces in the Southern region tend to last longer than those in the North and that he has seen similar units last 30 years or more with proper maintenance. Really there isn’t anyone in Katy that comes close to the level of service these guys provide. They are the last of a dying breed. They aren’t trying to make a killing on every call. I was looking for a small business HVAC company to do maintenance on my 18 year old unit so I could cultivate a relationship before I needed to replace my unit. Bill Anderson AC fit the bill perfectly. They were kind, informative and no pressure from the lady who spent lots of time answering my questions when I booked the appointment to the installation team that replaced my evaporator coil. They do not try to sell you components that are not needed. Everyone that works there is relative who has “ skin in the game”. So glad I was able to find them.

I had first contacted Bill Anderson in last summer because of extreme heat situations and my unit being old. I was not ready yet to make the move and had few contractors come visit. Home Depot contractor in the very first 5 mins painted a scary picture and left me with a quote of 16k. Representative from Bill Anderson came in next day, checked everything and gave opinions and suggestions that made sense and allowed me time enough to make the move 8 months later to get my 18 year old unit replaced.Best part they honoured the quote from 8 months back and i have brand new unit working fine for less than 7k.Installation was a breeze, BA team came in and took a quick view. Explained the activities they were going to complete. Finished the work, cleaned up after all work done.They even finished the warranty work on our behalf and sent over the warranty docs in mail to us.Lastly they have a great reputation in my Neighbourhood as a family owned local business and am happy to see them grow.

This summer, after noticing that our A/C was having trouble keeping up with the crazy heat, we called them to come check it out. Turns out, there was a small leak, and they came and recharged the system until we could set up a time to have them replace the broken parts. They were quick to return our initial call, quick to send out a technician to look at our unit, and focused on the true issue instead of trying to sell us something we truly didnt need. From my experiences, Bill Anderson Air has always been fair and honest. They have been able to arrive quickly, even during the hot summer months to troubleshoot air conditioning issues. They dont overcharge and they dont try to add on services that are not needed. For example, this past summer my downstairs unit was no longer holding temp, this could be several things but usually indicates a loss of freon (leak). There was a leak in the coils in the attic that could not be repaired and needed replacement. Based on the age of the system they could have easily said the outdoor unit also needed replacing. However they told me the outside unit was in working condition and did not require replacement. That is a difference of several thousand dollars. Honesty is a trait that has a high value these days.

Hey neighbors! I just wanted to share a recommendation for an air conditioning and heating company… Bill Anderson Air! They recently installed a whole home air filtration system and the results have been fantastic! Our dust levels are way, way down and they checked all of the vents and ducts for us. We had an outside vent that was sucking in humid air for a 1/2 hour out of every hour causing our house to be much more humid than it should be. Since they visited, our house has held a lower rate of humidity. They were fast, friendly, and gave us the best rate out of several companies that gave us estimates. We have a home warranty company but they wanted us to pay all of these out of pocket expenses to this company that was so untrustworthy. So, we decided to find a repair company on our own. We contacted Bill Anderson Air and they were so responsive. They sent someone out the next day to diagnose the issue. They ordered the replacement parts and fixed our unit in 2 days. Their price was even cheaper than the out of pocket expenses the other contractor was trying to charge us. So, I dont what the home warranty company was actually paying for. But, were so glad that we found an honest and reliable HVAC company.

We moved into our home at the end of summer and quickly realized that we would need something done with our HVAC before the upcoming summer.. Based on recommendations from the neighbors and friends here in the community, I contacted Bill Anderson Air. They were quick to send a technician out to inspect the unit and make recommendations. We went ahead and scheduled the work for a date about 1 1/2 months in the future. Of course some kind of bug took us down the day before the scheduled date. Mike at BAA was very understanding and a few days later checked up on us and rescheduled the install. This time things went smoothly. The crew showed up on time and did all the new install in a quick and professional manner. I would definitely recommend Bill Anderson Air for anyone needing anything done with their home HVAC.

I had problems with my AC not cooling, called another company (local). They came out and assessed the problem, the technician informed me that coil needed to be replaced and due to the shipping container crisis I would have to wait approximately six (6) months for the part to arrive. BAA is probably the best A/C company Ive used so far. Very responsive and knowledgeable. The person that came initially to diagnose the heating issue was really proficient and knew what he was doing. Unlike other techs would poke around trying to fix the problem by trial & error. All the appointments were on time. Price is fair. I have had couple different issues at home with my units and they always have resolved them and provided clear explanation/ education on how to maintain/treat my air conditioning units. Used Bill Anderson Air for some recent AC issues (leaking evaporator coil). They came right out and diagnosed the problem. After, they filled the unit with freon so it would work until a new coil could be installed. Super helpful with the summer heat. The techs were very friendly and professional. A couple of months ago, I reached out to Bill Anderson Air Conditioning to come perform an annual check. Since my system was running at the time, the soonest they could get me scheduled was about 3 weeks out. This was fine since it was running and they wanted to take care of other customers who were not working. So when it came time for them to come out, they called and said they still had a back log of customers needing repair that if i would reschedule to the following day then there would be no service call fee for coming out. Wow, that impressed me right off the bat there.They came out the following day and determined that my outdoor unit was getting close to end of its life and recommended a new outside unit. They were there the next day to install it.Super impressed with their service and will use them going forward.

We have called Bill Anderson Air to recently replace our air filters, air thermostat and resolve some issues going on with our A/C. They offer prompt service and was very responsive to getting someone out quickly to diagnose the issue with our A/C. We elected to use Bill Anderson Air on both of our 4 ton Lennox units after a review from our neighbor next door. We were super pleased to hear that the team had parts on hand to do the job as soon as we were ready. Mike was really patient with us as we worked through the costs and we were really pleased with the final price considering the new government efficiency requirements put us in a higher SEER bracket than we thought wed be. I was doubly impressed by the install team - they sent a full 2 teams to do the install and because of that they were done in under 4 hours with 2 A/Cs, coils, condensers and heaters. They even patched up our ductwork (which another vendor wanted to charge us $2000 for) and left the attic in better shape than it was when they arrived. In my research I couldnt find anyone with lower prices on Lennox or comparable brands (like Goodman, Daikin, American standard) so I was really pleased that I didnt have to sacrifice service quality for the lower price. All in all a great outfit - definitely highly recommended for HVAC replacement.

There is a reason these guys have so many great reviews - they earn it. Being a family owned business, they do business the old fashioned way. My hvac was the original system, 25 yrs old. Got a quote for a complete new system before summer gets here..., didnt try to push any particular brand - would install whatever I wanted. Set up the appointment time/date, came in , replaced the coil, plenum, outside condensing unit, all with new Lennox equipment, done in 3 hours. All at a very competitive price. Thanks!

My first experience with Bill Anderson air was when I had an issue with my ac and I called around looking for same day help. Everyone was booked but I told Mike that I had a newborn at home and my ac wasn’t heating. He told me he’d call me back to see if he can move folks around. He called me back a few minutes later stating that he moved a technician’s schedule around to help me out.My second experience with the company was when I selected them to install new coils and condenser. They didn’t push for a furnace replacement since it was 15 years old. Mike took time to talk to me about the unit and their services. The company worked around my schedule due to the newborn and were on time, professional, and cleaned up after. The technician stayed after the install was done to talk through what they did and made sure I validated the system worked. There was an issue with a thermostat that wasn’t on their scope but they took the time to troubleshoot the issue and even provided me a temporary thermostat.

Our A/C broke down on a hot Tuesday night. Mike Anderson was able to get his technician come by Wednesday noon and he found large freon leak on the ADP coil. Mike then worked his magic and he was able to swap a schedule with another customer so his technician could fix our A/C on Friday morning.The technician Osbal was great. He explained everything to me and had my A/C up and running by noon Friday. His office also filed the warranty for us.I highly recommend Bill Anderson Air for any A/C work. Their staff and management are professional and friendly, can diagnose the problem quickly, and take extra step to fix the problem promptly.

Update on 3/31/23 : About a year after my old review, Bill Anderson just put in a new Lennox A/C and did a terrific job, arrived punctually and the cost was very reasonable, would definitely recommend!My old review: Bill Anderson saved me money. My Lennox A/C had a bad fan motor. The first company I called said no point fixing it, and suggested replacing the entire A/C for big bucks. But Bill Anderson replaced the fan motor with original Lennox replacement fan and the A/C actually became colder than before and the cost was excellent value. So Bill Anderson saved me from having to replace the entire A/C for almost 20 times as much cost!

Called them for annual AC inspection. They came when they said they would. Found an issue with the compressor and fixed the next day. System works perfectly. If you have an issue with your HVAC system Bill Anderson Air is the company to call. I highly recommend them.

We had an issue with 1 of our exterior AC units and were referred to Bill Anderson Air. When I called, a live person answered the phone to guide me through the correct process of whom I need to speak with. The tech was unavailable at the time, but actually called me back shortly after the message. Upon further discussion they guided my through a minor issue that I was able to take care of myself...easily saving $100+! After a good experience we furthered our relationship by having them come out and evaluate our an interior unit that wasnt functioning correctly. Long story short, they went above and beyond tracking down difficult units during the supply shortage and did it a VERY reasonable rate!
