Oh my experience was awesome!! I consulted with Ricardo on Tuesday December 10th and my generac was installed on Wednesday December 11th. Ricardo provided exemplary customer service from start to finish. He gave me a hand hold service with my whole house generator installation. Thanks Ricardo!!!👍

I’m giving Eric a 5 star because of his knowledge and experience service and it’s the second time I used this company A1. But I’m not impressed with their pricing charges, I would have liked to know what they charge for changing out 1 light switch before time. It cost me $217.00 just to change out 1 light switch plus $195.00 to troubleshoot the problem with a total of $412.00 which I think was way over charged for just 1 light switch that cost $3.00 at Home Depot, so please tell me how that switch cost me $217.00? Other than that their service and tech was great. I would recommend that they have a price list on hand or offer the customer to do the job themself once the diagnostic and problem was completed because I could have saved $200.00 and do that myself.

Durrell Jacob. remember that name! Today I had the pleasure of meeting him in the process of installing ceiling fans in My Home. You could not find a more intelligent, informative and honest person than this guy (smile)!His knowledge in the field that he’s working was very impressive. He had a way of explaining things on a level that was border lining on simple, yet very informative. But what impressed me most was the way he addressed cleaning up the area when he finished working. I told him that I would address it, but he would not hear of it and immediately took the vacuum cleaner from my hands and finished up the area! Impressive!! First grade work, intelligent, and Humble. My hat’s off to him and the company.

Shawn and his team at A1 went above and beyond to help us recover from a major electrical panel issue.Henry was the 12 year veteran journeyman on the job. Our experience with their customer service has been great. They are quick to respond and send someone out as soon as possible. They worked with us regarding pricing. We also signed up for a maintenance subscription, which we like because it is convenient, they are thorough, and encourages us to schedule maintenance versus putting it off until a larger issue arises down the road. Very superb service from Ryan Kerr. He did a fantastic job on installing a circuit panel, new weather head and meter. He worked with us to make sure we were happy with each detail. He answered all our questions during the estimate and days following. He followed up to make sure everything was working once the power was restored. He went the extra mile to see things through.

I reached out to A1 Plus Electrical because my 40-year-old house had an outdated and unsafe electrical panel that needed replacement. I was fortunate to secure an appointment between 4 PM and 7 PM on a Friday. However, A1 contacted me to inform me that an electrician was available earlier and could come sooner if I preferred.Carmen, the electrician, arrived promptly, introduced himself, and presented himself professionally in both appearance and manner. I led him to the panel for evaluation, and after asking a few questions, he confirmed that he had all the necessary information to provide a quote. I was able to get scheduled immediately, and the technician, Sergio was so helpful. He was able to explain the issues in layman’s terms, give me estimates, and complete repairs. Everything was done in around 45 minutes. I have no complaints and will be calling again to get the other suggested repairs taken care of.

Sheldon was very personable and very knowledgeable. He explained the reasons why we could not install our unit in the spot we wanted due to constraints from the city of Stafford. But he was honest with his assessment of the increase cost of having to trench a gas and electrical. He was very professional, and we felt that this is a company that we can trust to install our generator.

Had A1-Plus Electrical do several jobs. They replaced outside security lights, installed heater/light/exhaust fans in bathrooms and replaced my heater and compressor. They were timely, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. They cleaned up the job site after completing the work. I have used them before and will continue to use them. Ryan Kerr did a great job on the electrical installations and Jason Hendrix arranged the HVAC services both were accommodating and easy to work with.

Our service technician Jason H. went above and beyond what was requested. He came for a second quote for a furnace. He diagnosed both units and tested all components. He was able to replace the part on the furnace as well as the capacitor. He was thorough in his analysis and explained clearly so I was presented with different options. Look forward to having him come out and service our units again.

Purchased a generator from A1. From the time I paid the deposit to install was about two months. The actual install took about a week including all of the checks from the City . Joesue and his crew did the electrical and were very professional. They cleaned up all their equipment and left everything tidy. They also raised the generator several inches above the actual pad to make sure it did not flood. Very nice to work with. After he left, the plumber came out. He also did a very good job. Finally, Stephen came out and set up the app on my phone and explained how everything worked. He was very thorough with the explanation and made sure everything was working properly.

Skylar, our technician, is great! He recommended we swap out our old capacitor. Appointment was easily scheduled and work completed quickly. He was careful to put down a towel to keep the work area clean, which I appreciated. I have used A1 Plus for electrical and now AC/Heating repairs and they have always provided excellent service.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with A1 Plus. I had someone come out for a free quote the same day I requested an estimate and ended up getting it fixed right afterward as well. Jose Herrera did a great job and was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We had some good conversations while he worked. He even explained everything going on to help me understand what the issue was. All around great experience!

Showed up about two hours into appointment window which is expected. He let me know upfront what a diagnostic would cost and what the total would be if the problem was as expected. He let me know if further work that would help, both expensive and midline fixes, and also let me know there was a problem with our meter. I appreciate a heads up and all of these points are reasons to ask for a return call. He even used boot covers in the house! I would recommend this service to anyone and there is a reason they are highly rated. A++

Thanks, for an awesome annual maintenance inspection of my heating system. I learned a few things I was doing wrong with setting. I got it corrected. Technician was on time, friendly dressed clean and appropriate. He was very knowledgeable about what checks he was performing and explained very well so I could understand.

Called before arriving Lance came to my home to give me an estimate. I thought my house needed a 10 k generator, when it actually needs a 18 k or 22 k. Very knowledgeable. Informed me of the warranties, maintenance available through A1. Very satisfied with his representation.

Jason was great answering all my questions about AC replacement. He even called me in the evening on a question I needed clarification on. I got the quotes same day as the onsite visit. I’ve used A1before for electrical work. They did a great job and were very competitive on pricing.

I needed a transfer switch (and some other parts) to safely hook up my 14.5 kW portable generator. Abdul took considerable time clearly explaining my options and running several different estimates for each option. From the start, I was impressed with the leadership. Not only was the job I requested done in a timely manner but the work was later inspected by the master electrician. The master electrician also pointed out a couple of issues I had that could have led to bigger issues if not taken care of. They were back a few days later and took care of this issue. Im now in the process of getting a quote from them on one more project. I would definitely recommend A1 Plus.. thank you A1 Plus.

Scheduled installation for Friday and Saturday, my off days. Showed up Friday and thats the last I saw of them. Job still is unfinished! Had to call TWICE today to get a supervisor call back! Their communication with customers is LACKING TO SAY THE LEAST!!! Their workmanship is YET to be determined!!!So far so good! Supervisor Billy extended both warranties for 2 Years for my inconvenience.The technician Stephon came out 12/13/24 to finalize the setup and he was very thorough in explaining it.4 stars, almost made 5! They did make it right!The Generator started up Monday as scheduled for routine maintenance.I would refer A1 to my family and friends. They did a great job in the end!

This 5 star review is just for an incredible account manager Lance as he was the only one at A1 who was willing to help with the process and accommodated all requests when customer service reps were not responsive. Lance helped us with the timeline and installation questions as well as post installation clean up. If it would not be for him I would rate my overall experience much lower. Skylar Barron was awesome! He was very efficient, checked every single compnent during his diagnosis, and was very informative and patient. The only service provider that has ever come into my home and didnt try to just find an easy fix and leave right away. I will definitely be staying with A1 Plus as long as he is our technician. We called A1+ for an evaluation of our existing Generac generator which was damaged during Beryl. Stephen was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a thorough examination of the unit and explained our options and the upcoming repair process. We have confidence that A1+ will sort us out. Relief!Update: Two weeks later: replacement parts came in and installed as promised. More relief. Now scheduling electrical conduit repair...Update: We had more work done by A1+. This time it was their electrical team. Jorge repaired the damaged generator conduit - looks good. We also upgraded our 40 year old breaker box and installed a couple of additional outdoor receptacles. They arrived on time and work was done in a friendly and professional manner. They did a good job of cleanup afterwards. Very pleased.

Our Heater went out during the winter freeze, we called 8 different companies none could come out that day, A1 Came thru, made app and service tech Sean Bryan came out with in a couple of hours. He was very friendly and informative, He immediately diagnosed issue and got heat going as a temp fix until new installation was set up. He recommended service and installment plans. Pricing seemed more completive than others. Once we settled on repairs and parts, A1 showed up early the next day Francisco arrived and got straight to work, He was also vey friendly and informative. Sean Bryan also arrived and ensured proper installation. After installation Sean explained new set up and we were up and running again. I would recommend A1 to any and all in need of services that A1 offers, Thank You team A1.

My ac went out. Called an ac company to fix it. They said compressor is finished and need new ac. Got in touch with A1 Plus. They sent me an amazing, honest man! Beside being friendly and professional and competent, honesty is what got me to have him do the work. He came out, checked the ac, changed the fan motor and the contactor. Now I have a working ac. Sergio came out to my house for a no cost estimate for an interlock system for my generator. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He discussed the different options with me and was even early. Doesnt get much better than that. Estimate of cost was on par with my research.Their phone staff are also very helpful and quick.Emilio installed the 50 amp inlet/breaker and interlock kit quickly and everything looks great.Overall great experience

A1 Plus Electrical did an excellent job! We were without power and centerpoint said our line needed to be replaced and was nicked in construction (Comcasts doing). I’ve used this company about four times in the last decade, most recently today to troubleshoot a lighting issue (ended up replacing photo cell) and replacing some lightbulbs high up on external balcony.Every time has been responsive, friendly, and the issues stayed fixed.Update: Eric came out today to diagnose and repair a non functional kitchen light. He worked quickly and efficiently (it was clear he knew what he was doing), while still being friendly and willing to answer questions and explain what he was doing. Our switch in the electrical box for our heating unit kept tripping. This is a new A/C-Heater unit is new; installed in September of 2024. We havent used the heater until the cold front that came through this week. We do not run our heat above 65- we lived in humid, hot Houston - dry air wreaks havoc on out allergies. Anyway, Ahmed from A1 came out, evaluated and examined our unit and explained in detail what the problem was and what our options were. Needless to say-Ahmed fixed the problem within an hour and all is now fine. Ahmed was wonderful and an expert at what he does.
